Siphonic roof drainage in Kütahya

Industry in Kütahya is split across two organised industrial zones, and roof sizes vary widely from one plant to the next. The references here come from different branches: fertiliser and chemical production, medical manufacturing, mining, and a technology and publishing operation. They range from a 400 m² extension roof to a single 14,000 m² production hall. Siphonic drainage earns its place across that range, because the horizontal collector runs at zero fall beneath the roof beams and gathers the water into a small number of downpipes without forcing a change to the existing floor layout.

The method does not change from job to job: roof geometry and local rainfall intensity feed a hydraulic calculation to TS EN 12056-3, and the Geberit Pluvia roof outlets and the Geberit HDPE line, ø 40 to 315 mm, are sized from that calculation. Welding is carried out by our own DVS 2207 certified team and is never passed to a subcontractor. The completed line is checked on site before commissioning.
